The yoga in this program is suitable for pregnant women from the 14th week until the end of pregnancy. The clearly described yoga is demonstrated by pregnant women and is easy to follow even if you are new to yoga. Instructors Eryl Holt, from the BBC's "Fast Show," and Marion Symes who was a midwife for 12 years and now teaches yoga and birth preparation, guide you through the stress and tension relieving benefits of yoga during pregnancy. The book uses everyday language and over 150 illustrations to explain every aspect of pregnancy beginning with what a woman should do to get her body ready for pregnancy. The book stresses the importance of getting medical care throughout pregnancy and given information on how to find a doctor. It explains what the doctor will do each month and describer special taste that some women need. There's a section in the book devoted to each month of pregnancy. It explain the body changes women have each month and a description of the baby's sizes and appearance. Contraction stress test - A contraction stress test (CST) is performed near the end of pregnancy to determine how well the fetus will cope with the contractions of childbirth. The aim is to induce the contractions and monitor the baby to check for heart rate abnormalities.

Pregnancy discrimination - Pregnancy Discrimination occurs when expectant women are fired, not hired, or otherwise discriminated against due to their pregnancy or intention to become pregnant. Common forms of pregnancy discrimination include not being hired due to visible pregnancy or likelihood of becoming pregnant, being fired after informing an employer of oneâ€™s pregnancy, being fired after maternity leave, receiving a pay dock due to pregnancy.

Hoop stress - Hoop stress is mechanical stress applied in a direction perpendicular to the radius of the item in question. Along with axial stress and radial stress, it is a component of the stress tensor in cylindrical coordinates.

Tensile stress - Tensile stress (or tension) is the stress state leading to expansion; that is, the length of a material tends to increase in the tensile direction. The volume of the material stays constant; therefore in a uniaxial material the length increases in the tensile stress direction and the other two directions will decrease in size (see Poisson's ratio for detail).
